This gin is what we refer to as a ‘contemporary’ or ‘new world’ gin. This essentially means where the juniper is less prominent and the concept was born from Philip keen to make a gin from ingredients he can harvest himself.

Philip proudly grows eight of the nine botanicals in his garden at Distillery Botanica. Four of the roots being galangal, ginger, turmeric, and angelica root and four of the leaves being makrut lime leaf, curry tree, mandarin and lemon verbena. With juniper stepping out of the spotlight, Philip has created a citrusy, earthy, spicy and refreshing tasting gin.
